Overview
The latest release of Compose Design focuses on continuous updates to our components and patterns, as well as several improvements to our documentation. We aimed to enhance the reading experience by restructuring articles and ensuring their guidelines address frequently asked questions.
Here are some of the highlights we’re most excited to share:
- Dos and Don’ts reviewed for all articles that contain them;
- Upgrades to several components, as well as their documentation;
- New additions to the design system;
- Guidelines for the maximum number of characters and width of components.
We’re looking forward to seeing how this new update will improve our developers’ experience!
Improved Guidelines
Refined Dos and Don’ts
Dos and Don’ts have been carefully reviewed in all articles. They have been amended to make them clearer and are now integrated into the sections of the articles where they are most relevant.
Upgraded Components
Stepper
The stepper has been revised to be more responsive and now comes with multiple variations which affect its states, sizes and labels. Its documentation was also improved to reflect these changes.
Cards
Cards guidelines have been updated to help better understand their features, use cases and limitations. The component was also optimized, made more responsive and more in line with the rest of the design system.
Formula Editor
The Formula Editor is the latest addition to our component library. It allows users to create and manage formulas and supports the integration of Cegid Pulse features, allowing for a highly customizable experience for users.
General Rules
Character Limitation
A new category has been added to the General Rules article, which contains several tables with the maximum character limits and width constraints for various components.
